Printing Pictures

Printing your digital pictures with a laser printer can be a bit of a nuisance because the laser printer will not work with glossy photograph paper. If you want laser paper that will enable you to print out your digital pictures then you need to order photograph paper that has a matt finish. If you have one of the very expensive colour laser printers then the pictures you get will be of a better colour resolution than an ink jet printer produces.

One of the advantages of an ink jet printer is that it can deal with many different kinds of paper, although some people find its jerky printing mechanism as less precise and a lot slower than the laser.

The laser printer can print up to sixteen sheets of a document in one minute and that is pretty fast printing. The only real drawback with a laser printer is that there are some types of paper that it just won’t work with. Some companies sell paper that is specifically for a laser printer but inkjet paper is much easier to get hold of.

Many people will use cheap copier paper with their ink jet printer but not with a laser. There are benefits and drawbacks on both sides.
