Tyra Banks is one of the top model in the industry that has been in it for a long time, she is proud of her race which is Afro-American and has been also making sure that more people feel the same, even girls that think that because of their skin color won’t be able to make it in the fashion world.

Tyra started this project with a lot of ideas in mind and one of them is to educate people about models, this is a very difficult and hard career and it can make a lot of damage especially to those girls that are doing whatever it takes to become part of that industry, including the eating disorders that are the cause of many health problems including death.

So this is a show where girls that are not involved at all in this world compete in order to become the America Next Top Model, making sure that they know that is more about attitude and the way that they face this challenge, more that they way they look or their skin color. This is positive attitude that not only needs to be recognized but also applauded.
