According to recent researches from Gallup Organization having engaged customers is going to depend on different factors and not necessarily are good service or things like that. If you are a manager focused in encourage your employees to work, hard, faster, and more efficient but with the same level of compensation you are probably making a big mistake. I personally think that you should identify what is the satisfaction level of your staff and then, determine if this satisfaction level is impacting negatively your level of production and the quality of service you are giving to your customers.
According to Gallup Organization, the more satisfied are you employees and all the people working with you as part of your staff the more satisfied are going to be your customers. This is a clear and simple rule you can’t avoid. In other words, the impact is from the inside to the outside and if you want engaged customers you should first have engaged employees that are fully-satisfied, which feel the have a compromise with the company and your business. It is really and amazing discovering but it is also a very simple thing.
On the other hand, the mistake is that some managers think they are going to have the same results if they don’t have satisfied employees. This is something that you should improve in your business or company. The acquisition of customers that can remain consuming your goods and products is something very difficult in this society where people consume different brands according to their preferences, prices, quality but above all the quality of the service they receive from your staff and employees that work in your organization. Engaged customers means that you have a good work environment and your people inside the company feel fine and are available to contribute with the development of the company.
